- EPCs, OEMs, and end users from all industrial sectors who are involved in the specification, design, procurement, inspection, or operation of breather valves and flame arresters for storage tanks and process equipment.
- Fundamentals of breather valves (pressure/vacuum relief valves): function, design types, performance characteristics, leakage classes
- Fundamentals of flame arresters: operating principle, types (end‑of‑line, in‑line, deflagration, detonation), limits of use
- Relevant standards and guidelines (e.g. API, ISO, EN, ATEX) and their practical implications
- Key parameters for specification and sizing: set pressure, vacuum setting, flow capacity, gas characteristics, operating conditions
- Typical installation concepts on storage tanks and process vessels, including combination devices (valve + flame arrester)
